Microsoft requires Service Providers to be compliant to British Standard (BS7799) as required by most of the requirements proposed by Microsoft. PKI deployment is one of the critical requirements that Service Providers has to complete before implementing Microsoft Mediaroom IPTV.

Base Mediaroom PKI Assessment Package:
Base package includes:
Physical Security Assessment
Process and Policy Assessment
Deliver detailed GAP Analysis report back to customer
Discuss findings and identified GAPS with the customer
Discuss recommendation plan to mitigate identified Gaps
Includes 2 Policy Templates to help mitigate identified Gaps
Help Customer with meeting requirements to close all Gaps (at additional cost)
Obtain MS Signoff to proceed, once customer mitigates all identified GAPS
Build and Deliver Two (2) offline CA machines (root and intermediate CA)
Install 2 FIPS 140 Level 2 compliant HSMs in offline CA's
Provide 6 smart tokens
Onsite implementation of offline CA with HSM installed
Generation of VO Request to be sent to Microsoft for signing
Remediation Services Package: (in addition to Base Package at additional cost)
Remediation Services Package includes:
Work with the customer to remediate of GAPS identified in PKI Security Audit/Assessment
Customer can buy complete package of pre-canned policy templates
Customer can also hires WS to develop custom policies in order to meet requirements
Policy Templates Package:
This package contains prepackaged policy templates that customer has the option to buy
Customer can either buy the complete package or has to option to buy individual packages
PKI-Managed Security Services (MSS) Package: (Required to be purchased in addition to each Base Package)
PKI-MSS package includes:
Bi-Annual CA Maintenance and Backup services onsite to manage offline PKI infrastructure
Ongoing support for day to day CA operations (5 support calls included per year)
